Drone Warfare: an Ethical Crisis

Wednesday, November 12th 12:30-1:20

Faculty Lounge in Armitage

3rd Floor, near the elevators

Drones serve a variety of functions.  Drones can deliver your packages from Amazon or deliver assassination orders somewhere cross the globe.  Drones may be efficient, but should we have the right to use such technology as a tool of war?  At what point is collateral damage acceptable?  Does the use of drones undermine goals for peace with foreign states down the road?  Join the Philosophy Society in exploring the ethical issues of drone warfare.
