“The Most Good You Can Do: Changing Ideas about Living Ethically”
Peter Singer

November 22, 2016 3PM – 4:20PM
Penn 401
(side entrance of the Paul Robeson Library)

Many in the generation that has come of age in the new millennium are looking for meaning in their life beyond finding a job and earning money. They have created a new movement — effective altruism. Peter Singer, whose thought has influenced many of the movement’s leaders, will here describe effective altruism and show how it can make a difference to the world.

Immediately after the talk and the Q&A session there will be a reception and book signing that will last until 5:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
